Designer Paper: digital paper Photo: taken by my son Bicycle: from Silhouette Store # 43371 Banner: from Silhouette Store Sentiment: computer generated A2 sized card = 5.5" x 4.25" Photo mat sized at 4" x 3". Love the white cross that appears in the clouds. Banner is sized at .28" x 2.1". Bicycle is sized at 1.4" x 2". Bicycle was cut three times and glued together to create a chip board effect. Hi, Carolyn here with with Simply Made Saturday and I am sharing a couple 8x8 layouts using Abode Photoshop Elements 12... TIP: Backup your scrapbook layouts for safety sake. I lost everything on my external harddrive, and now backing up what I have on the flashdrive. Thankfully, I had posted the 8x8 layouts on my blog recently so can download the photos to flashdrive and than to box.com... This is showing that my son and family moving to Ft Bliss/El Paso, Texas area where they will be living for next 2 1/2 years. Granddaughters and I spent a early evening hour at the park close to their home and took pictures, playing around with the options in Abode Photoshop Elements 12. A one day trip to the Balloon Festival, driving thru a portion of New Mexico and photographed the mountains on the way. Hello to all my scrappy and crafty friends. Barbara here with a layout to make your small photos shine. My Tip- use some of those random photos to make a page of different facial expressions of one person. Here is my finished project: Recipe: I used Baby Bump by Bo Bunny Photos-4-2.25 x 2.25 Photo mat 5.5 x 5.5 Small mats: 3 x 4 four of these and one smaller mat 2.5 x 3.5 Large mat 10 x 8 One piece 12 x 12 Each of these can be patterned paper or solid cardstock Place the large mat on the 12 x 12 paper like this. You can put it straight or slanted. You can center it or put it slightly more to one side or the other. Add your small mats like this: Make your photo mat with your photos on it. Again you can place them straight and in the middle or slanted and off center. Add your photo mat with the photos as your last layer on top, again either centered and straight or slanted and off center. Add embellishments and journaling and you are done.

I am going to review for you today the Peerless Water Colors...I watched several videos from both Amy R. and Jennifer Mcquire on their review of these and then actually using them I knew I had to have them. I absolutely am in love with them! The actual water color is packed onto these cardboard rectangles that are contained inside this little paper booklet and you just wet the brush and take the color straight from the paper. Hello, Friends! Marilyn here. Last Sunday, June 22, my husband and I celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary. Hard to believe it's been 25 years - it went by in a blink of the eye. I'm a very lucky woman to have found the one whom my soul loves. My project today is a pillow cover that uses the Bible verse from Song of Solomon 3:4. I purchased a pillow cover from Walmart. Can't remember what I paid for it. It's a hounds-tooth pattern in polyester. Using my Silhouette software, I simply typed the text out and sized it at 10" x 8.25". I sent the design to my ink transfer printer (Ricoh SG7100DN). The PowerDriver software that manages my printer flips the image for me and prints it out on Transfer Paper. I pre-heated my heat press for 375 degrees. The ink transfer paper is positioned in the center and covered with a Teflon sheet. I pressed at 375 degrees for 20 seconds. The ink transfer printer I use is meant for cotton fabrics only. Wh

MY TIP: Use neutral colors with a pop of red for cards that can be masculine or feminine. Here is my finished project for today: Recipe Cardstock for base of card 10 x 7 inches folded at 5 inches border punch coordinating patterned paper punched with border punch 6.5 inches by 2 inches heart print paper 3 x 6.5 inches small banner piece 1 x 3 inches large banner piece 4.5 X 3.75 inches XO stamp red ink First punch a border for the left side of your card. If you have a notebook page punch that would work well too. Attach your border Add your heart patterned paper over the border leaving a little of the base card showing. Then I stamped the banner with XO in red ink and used mist at the top of the border. Add your layers of border and trim at the top of your border and you are
Hello crafters...Teresa here...I am posting today without use of my computer...it is in the repair shop...so bear with me cause things may be a little bit different. Thanks for joining me. I have some super fun, summery die cuts to share with you. If you have read some of my posts in the past you know I often cut several images at once on my Cricut to be able to have images ready for quick cards. Well today I pulled out Teddy Bear on Parade to create some cute little bears ready for summer cards. My tip for you: Cut all the same colors together for ALL , it makes the cutting go faster. All the bear parts. Bears ready for their clothes...heehee! Cute little summer bears...if I do say so myself. All bears were cut at 3 and 1/4". Thanks for joining me today. Hello, Friends! Marilyn here with a fun and messy project... tie dye shirts. Patriotic Tie-Dye Shirt What is Needed: White T-Shirt Tie-Dye Kit (found at Walmart) Sink and Water Washing Machine I purchased this red and blue tie-dye kit at Walmart. It came with the mixing bottles (dye was already in the bottle), rubber bands and plastic gloves. The kit also comes with instructions and examples on different types of shirts to make. This is a mini kit and there is enough dye to make 3 projects. Tie-Dye Kit purchased at Walmart Step 1: Determine what type of design you want. I'm hoping for blue on top and red on bottom that will be patriotic looking when complete. Scrunch your t-shirt and add rubber bands. When completed, the parts with rubber bands will be white. The exposed portion will receive the dye. Scrunching and adding rubber bands Step 2: Fill the bottles with water up to the fill line and shake. Put on gloves. Get your shirt wet and ha
